Si tratta d’una villa rustica datata intorno alla seconda metà del I secolo a.C., appartenuta alla liberta Peticia, schiava affrancata della facoltosa famiglia dei Peticii. Alla luce sono emersi pavimenti delle varie stanze del complesso, tra i quali un mosaico con decoro centrale a scacchi in bianco e nero, nonché una lastra di pietra con iscrizione adibita a tempietto votivo dedicato alla Bona Dea.

This Roman Villa is named Liberta Peticia, after the name of a slave of the wealthy Roman family Peticii. It is a rustic Roman villa which dates back to approximately the second half of the 1st century BC. During the excavations have come to light the floors of the various rooms of the villa, including a mosaic with a central black and white chess pattern, as well as a stone slab with an inscription which was used as a votive temple dedicated to the Bona Dea.
